Here’s a shot of it all together in my final comp. the files too larger for me to preview it in After Effects so i’m having to render it in low quality to watch as whole. the next step is to edit the sound.

Here is the background pan for the final scene.

So the transition form scene four works, and it looks like the films coming together. here’s a shot from one of the cuts.
Scene four is done and i’t’s turned out rather well. this is the part of the film where the pace quickens, I’m excited to see if it transitions well into the next scene.

With five deaths completed the after effects file is rapidly increasing in size making my mac run slower and slower. still its not stopping me and I have just completed one of my largest scenes. Below is my well organised after effects file :)

The first two are down and i’m now moving onto the next death. I don’t want to give away too much in this production blog but i will try and post little snippets here and there. Below has something to do with the next death.
We decided to turn on the projector to keep us entertained while we work. We are keeping it to films we’ve already seen otherwise we wont work. obviously being animators its only natural that the first film we watch is pixar.
This is a test for the first scene I developed a while ago for the crit. A few things have changed since then, for example The second death is no longer a tentacle as I thought it was too ridiculous too early on. I wont reveal too much of the new one but all I can say is that it involves a blue bird. I have also saturated the final image slightly more.
Below is a picture of my background for the first scene, i know its very small here but in reality its extremely long and i had to shrink it down for web. All the elements are drawn by me in photoshop and are then put into after effects on 3d layers and then with the use of a after effects camera I am able to create the desired pan.

Dissertation is done and I managed to get it in all ok I have moved into Luiz living room where I will be working and living for the next month and a bit. I’m looking forward to this, I think it will be a good environment working together on our films. Unlike Luiz my face isn’t covered in hair, i’m sure by the end of this production it wont be far off.
